It is true that some of the consulates provide translation certification services. This is done in several ways and each consulate determines their own procedures and requirements.
- Page by page certification - in this method the consular officer will compare the translation and original text, and if deemed sufficient the actual translation will be attested.
- Signature certification - occurs when the consulate has a number of verified translators whose signature may be verified upon request.
- Translation by the consulate- the least common method. This is when the consulate performs the actual translation and attests it.
We have vast experience with attesting translations and translators signatures with the consulates of Cuba, Greece, Italy, Russia, Ukraine and others .
